Mission: Care Styling is a Calgary-based training program that equips beauty industry professionals to build relationships with clients while demonstrating care and compassion in supportive conversations.
Our program serves to train hairstylists to increase their individual competencies in a way where they can then support others by providing an avenue of care and compassion that is insufficient in our daily lives.
There is much research on how informal social supports, such as hairstylists, can be an effective “listening ear” to their clients even without proper training. The purpose of our program is to enhance this unique position of the hairdresser, not in a way that takes away from the informal atmosphere that they provide, but to ensure that they can respond to their clients in a caring and constructive manner.
We are a H2H (Human-to-Human) company. We believe in the interdependency of our relationships and without each other, we cannot succeed. Our training is delivered directly to our customers through our knowledgeable trainers and our customers will then use their knowledge and skills from our training to impact others. The benefit will be creating a community of increased well-being.
